What I'm Doing: Back to the Doctor’s Surgery to see about my Neck Pain
I arrived at Swan Street Surgery in plenty of time for my appointment only to find the doctor would be delayed a few minutes. It was around 15 or so. Anyhow, I saw Dr Kershaw and he advised my that my neck problem was due to the bones in my neck becoming squashed together due to years of having a bad posture. Well OK, that’s my layman’s version.
For a while though I have noticed that my head does appear more forward that it should be. This causes strain on my neck muscles which then leads to an almost constant pain when doing simple things like reading from my mobile phone.
I now have a list of exercises to do and will be back to see him in three to four weeks.
